FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

- Minimum order: No minimum order required.

- Order deposit and payment: After placing your order, we will contact you by phone to confirm it, arrange a pickup date, and collect your credit card number.
A non-refundable 50% deposit will be charged immediately, with the balance due upon pickup of the goods for your event.
Your credit card information will be securely stored for your final payment and any additional charges you may incur.  

- Orders, reservations, and re-bookings: We accept orders and reservations up to one year in advance of the event. We will accommodate date changes at no charge if the product rental does not conflict with other events.

- What happens if I need to cancel my order? Your 50% deposit is non-refundable because those items have been reserved and made unavailable to other customers on that date.

- What is the duration of your rental? We allow 7 business days from the pickup date for the product to be returned to our warehouse.
We will ensure you can pick up the products at least 3 days before your event, and you are expected to return them within 4 days after your event.
Since our inventory is limited, late returns will incur a daily late fee of 20% of the total rental order.
Items not returned within 15 days of the pickup date will be deemed purchased by the renter and will be charged at full retail price, which is four times the rental fee; for example, if your rental fee was $25.00 per plate, you will be charged $75.00 per plate in addition to the rental fee already paid.


- Products, sanitation & packaging: Our rental products are shipped washed, clean, packed in a sealed polybag, and ready to use.

  

- Packaging: Products will be delivered to you in person, securely protected in a reusable polyfoam bag. The plates will be packaged in corrugated boxes in small batches for easy handling.
PLEASE SAVE ALL PACKAGING MATERIALS as needed to return the goods to us.



- Rental service area: All rentals are only available for in-person pickup and return at our Glenview, IL location. - We do not provide shipping for rental items.
Our Showroom & Warehouse is located at 1874 Johns Drive, Glenview, IL 60025.


- Product specifications: All our products are handcrafted and painted in Italy. Dishwasher and 100% Food Safe. 

- Care & Use: Our products are rented to be used ONLY as serving pieces and therefore are not allowed to be used in a conventional or microwave oven.

- What happens if something breaks? We understand that accidents happen, so the first "accident" is on us. However, a replacement fee will be charged for any additional product returned broken or damaged, in addition to the original rental price. The replacement fee will be twice the rental price of the damaged item, plus the rental fee already paid.

- Do we have to wash the plates prior to returning them? Cleaning and washing is part of our rental fee. But please rinse them well before repacking in their original foam bags.
